June 3, 2025 – Italjet x Gresini Moto2
Team Italjet Gresini is back at full strength as we gear up for round eight of the 2025 Moto2 season: Aragon, Spain. With momentum building, Albert Arenas arrives at his home GP following a series of consistent performances. The Spanish rider has found his rhythm and will be looking to take that final step toward the top — in front of a passionate home crowd.
After being sidelined at Silverstone due to his crash in Le Mans, Darryn Binder rejoins the team. Three intense weeks of rehabilitation and physiotherapy have put him in a strong position to return, pending a final medical clearance ahead of Friday’s sessions.
The engines will roar back to life for Free Practice 1 this Friday at 07:50 (UTC). Both Italjet-backed Gresini riders are ready to attack the weekend.
🇪🇸 ALBERT ARENAS #75
“Aragon: home circuit, a track that will give us a lot of satisfaction. We come from a positive moment, we are in good shape! Now we still have to put together a few small pieces, but we are close to the goal and we will continue to push to reach it. We have to stay focused and take another step, bring out the best: I really want to start on Friday to do the work that matters.”
🇿🇦 DARRYN BINDER #15
“I can’t wait to finally get back on my bike, after missing the Silverstone round. My arm is fine, I’ve done a lot of rehabilitation and physiotherapy, improving significantly. On Monday we did a final scan which confirmed that I’m ready to get back on track in Aragon. It certainly won’t be easy to come back after this injury and we’ll also have to do a long-lap following a mistake of mine in Le Mans: the goal will be to come back, step-by-step but with conviction, and find my speed again. I’ll do my best!”
