Albert Arenas #75 – P12
Silverstone served up a dry race day, but the weekend was already compromised. Poor setup choices on Friday combined with a rain-soaked Saturday morning meant Albert Arenas entered Sunday fighting uphill. By the time the lights went out, we were aiming for recovery, not glory.

Albert crossed the line in 12th place, salvaging valuable points after a weekend that never quite found its rhythm. Not what we came for, but better than it could have been. A handful of points, a lot of lessons, and a clear sense of what needs fixing before Aragon.

“A difficult race, in line with the trend of the whole weekend. We managed to bring home some points, but we will definitely have to redeem ourselves in Aragon. It will be essential to be strong starting from Friday, because here we dragged a few bad decisions on Friday with us all weekend and the weather on Saturday morning didn't help us, and that prevented us from reaching our goals. In the race there was a moment in which we managed to be competitive, but unfortunately we weren't able to maintain this pace until the end: with 8 laps to go, we also lost the feeling with the rear, and I struggled to control the bike, with the sole goal of taking it to the finish line. Now let's do a reset and think about the home race.”
Elsewhere, Darryn Binder was absent, recovering from a fractured ulna sustained earlier in the season. A frustrating weekend to miss, but all focus now shifts to Aragon, where he’s expected to return, fully fit and ready to fight.
Race Result – British GP:
Albert Arenas – 12th Place
Championship Standings:
Albert Arenas – 10th Overall (42 pts)
Darryn Binder – 20th (10 pts)
Silverstone didn’t hand us a win, but it handed us a wake-up call: in Moto2, the weekend starts on Friday and one bad step early can echo through every lap. Aragon is next. It’s our home race. Time to sharpen up and strike back.
