Italjet New Technical Sponsor for Gresini Racing MotoGP Team

The start of the season is already "under the belt" and the Gresini family continues to grow, this time thanks to the collaboration with Italjet , a very Italian company with solid roots in the so-called Motor Valley.

Italjet will thus be the technical sponsor of the Gresini MotoGP team which just made its debut under the lights of the Losail track last Sunday with the brothers Alex and Marc Marquez.

The collaboration will not stop at the track as the famous Italian motorcycle manufacturer already has a Gresini Racing branded version of its flagship DRAGSTER model in preparation.

MASSIMO TARTARINI – PRESIDENT and CEO of ITALJET

“It is a great honor for us to be able to boast the qualification of Technical Sponsor of Team Gresini, a Team that has already firmly established itself among the Top of MotoGP and with increasingly ambitious prospects. At Team Gresini we are linked by a solid collaborative relationship, as well as sharing the same strong sense of belonging to the territory, the Italian Motor Valley. This collaboration will also lead to the development of a Dragster Replica in the colors of Team Gresini. The DRAGSTER, which we define as Urban Superbike, is a hymn to sportsmanship and its values. The same ones that can be felt naturally in Team Gresini."

CARLO MERLINI – COMMERCIAL AND MARKETING DIRECTOR OF GRESINI RACING

“I am very pleased to welcome Italjet among the Gresini Racing MotoGP technical sponsors. We share a very strong racing DNA, obviously, but also belonging to a territory which, as is known, has very strong connections with the world of motors. With Italjet we have developed a double-faceted collaboration: in addition to the sponsorship there will also be an agreement to develop a Gresini Racing MotoGP replica version of the Dragster, the iconic model of the Italjet range which will soon be available in the distinctive colors of the Gresini team.”
