DOUBLE TOP-TEN FOR ITALJET GRESINI MOTO2 & MARQUEZ MAKES HISTORY IN MOTOGP
With the thrill of competition, the roar of the engines, and the relentless pursuit of victory, Team Italjet Gresini Moto2 delivered an electrifying performance at the Argentina GP! With both riders securing a top-ten finish, the race was a true testament to the dedication, skill, and passion that define our partnership with Gresini Racing.

DARRYN BINDER #15 – FIGHTING AT THE FRONT
"Happy with how the things went today: I didn't get the best of starts, so I felt like I really had to push quite hard in the beginning. I may used too much the rear tyre the first couple of laps and at the end I felt like I was just struggling to hang on that podium battle. Overall, I'm happy with my race, and I'm feeling good: looking forward to Texas!"
Binder's incredible charge to sixth place displayed grit and determination. With every twist of the throttle, he proved why he is one of the rising stars of Moto2. His pace was blistering, his overtakes fearless, and his hunger for the podium undeniable. Undoubtedly, we'll see him fighting for even higher positions in the next round!
ALBERT ARENAS #75 – BUILDING MOMENTUM
"A challenging race, but with a comeback. The goal was to have a good start and a competitive first lap and we did that. Then I managed to make my way into the top ten, but then obviously I stressed the brakes and the tyres in the first part of the encounter, meaning I struggled a little in the final stages. We did have a good pace though, which could have allowed us to be further ahead. I'm happy for the team, as both of us finished in the top ten: we'll build upon today's result. We can still improve in some areas, both on the bike and with regards to my riding style: we'll focus on that and to have a better qualifying in the upcoming races, in order to make a further step forward."
Arenas' top-ten finish underlines the incredible synergy between rider and machine. His racecraft was on full display as he carved through the field, proving that consistency and perseverance are just as crucial as outright speed. The potential is there, and the momentum is building; Texas is the next step!
A RACE OF HIGH-PACED ACTION IN ARGENTINA
While Team Italjet Gresini Moto2 celebrated another strong double top-ten finish, the front of the field witnessed a dominant display by Jake Dixon (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team), who stormed to victory with a commanding 3.5-second lead. Manuel Gonzalez (Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP) secured second place, with Celestino Vietti (Team HDR Heidrun) clinching his first podium of the season in third.
Dixon controlled the race from the start, seizing the holeshot and setting a relentless pace. Gonzalez briefly challenged but had to settle for a safe second as the Brit extended his lead past the one-second mark by Lap 8, eventually stretching it to over 1.5 seconds by Lap 12. Meanwhile, a dramatic battle unfolded for the final podium spot, with Filip Salač's race ending early after an incident with Marcos Ramirez, allowing Vietti to capitalize on the opportunity.
A HISTORIC DAY FOR GRESINI IN MOTOGP – CONGRATULATIONS ALEX MARQUEZ!
Gresini Racing's success didn't stop with our Moto2 squad; MotoGP also delivered an unforgettable race in Argentina! Alex Marquez (#73) continued his spectacular start to the season, securing his fourth consecutive second-place finish, proving once again that he is one of the strongest contenders in the premier class.
"It was another great Sunday, maybe the first one in which I really thought I could win. It didn't happen, but still, it's a historical day, another one. I knew where I was faster and where I was losing to Marc, but it didn't go as planned and we know we gave our best. Four second place finishes in the first four races are easier said than done… and never in my wildest dreams I would have imagined that. Let's continue this way." – Alex Marquez
Marquez fought fiercely throughout the race, showcasing his skill and determination against some of the best riders in the world. His consistency and hunger for victory have placed him in a strong position in the World Championship standings, where he now sits second with 58 points.
Fermin Aldeguer (#54) had a more challenging race, finishing 17th after serving a long-lap penalty and struggling with braking. Despite the result, Aldeguer improved compared to previous rounds, highlighting the team's commitment to progress.
TEAM ITALJET GRESINI: ONWARD AND UPWARD
This race marked another strong showing for Italjet Gresini Moto2, reinforcing our competitive spirit on the world stage. Seeing both riders inside the top ten is a massive boost for the team, and we know this is just the beginning. The Italjet mentality, fearlessness, aggression, and always striving for the best, is alive and well in Moto2.
A huge congratulations to Alex Marquez on his phenomenal MotoGP performance! Four podiums in four races is an incredible achievement, and we are proud to share the track with such a talented rider under the Gresini banner.
As we head to Texas, we take the confidence, energy, and hunger for even greater results. The season is still young, and the best is yet to come. Stay tuned, racing fans; this is going to be one unforgettable ride!
